Doda family is painstaking, having zeal for social reform, kind hearted and benevolent believing in welfare of general human beings. With utmost devotion, this family envisaged to establish a professional institution to impart medicine, education to the local residents. Ultimately, both family collaborated to set up Sachkhand Convent School Educational Society. This society was got constituted and registered on 28-07-2000. Under its auspices already Sachkhand Convent School, Abohar is running successfully ranking among the top most school of Punjab. Sachkhand School of Nursing is also the project undertaken by Sachkhand Convent School Educational Society. Mr Ashok Ahuja is the Chairman of this Sachkhand School of Nursing whereas Mrs. Sunita Doda is the Vice Chairperson of this society as well as Sachkhand School of Nursing. Both the Chairman and the Vice Chairperson have communicated following message for the new entrants.

Florence Nightingale showed path to the whole world as how to serve the patients, wounded and mankind without prejudice like the historic Bhai Kanhaya who never differentiated between friends and foes while at service. Nursing is the noble profession and it has a very wide scope. The Sachkhand School of Nursing, Abohar will train the students in General Nursing and Midwifery courses. Such trained nurses can go for higher education later on. There is ample opportunity for all round development of such students. Nurse is an important member of health team on whom even the medical professionals have to vitally depend on.
